Roses necklace/ Collaret de roses

Hi again!

Looking through the pictures I have been posting in this blog I have found out that I really love flowers, and this necklace couldn't be an exception!

I made strings of wool a long time ago and I didn't know what to do with them. One day though, I decided to sew them together in a circle to create something like a rose. I kind of liked the look of it, so I sew them on a piece of white felt together with some leafs.

I love the result!

Mirant les fotografies que he anat penjant en el bloc he descobert que m'agraden força els flors. I evidentment, aquest collaret, no podia ser una excepció.

Fa un temps vaig per uns cordills amb llana feltrejada però no vaig saber després què fer-ne amb ells. Fins que un dia vaig provar de fer roses amb ells. Com que el resultat no em va desagradar, les vaig acabar cosint en un tros de feltre blanc amb algunes fulles verdes.

Si voleu aprendre coses sobre com feltrejar aquesta adreça que us passo pot ser una bona introducció!

Felt house

Hello,

As you may know I love felt houses.  I would like to be creative and do my own design, but it is very difficult when you have a look on the internet and you find really lovely and cute things.

It is not difficult to be inspired by those nice houses done by others around the world.

In this case, as you can see, I've chosen a pink and green color palette. I thought that it would make the house more harmonius than the previous ones I've done.

Maybe it is a bit naive, but I've enjoyed a lot sewing it, and this is what really counts in the end. A nice break between work and more work.

Com ja sabeu, m'agraden moltíssim les casetes de feltre. M'encantaria poder ser creativa i crear el meu propi disseny, però cada vegada això es fa més difícil quan veus les cases precioses que hi ha penjades a la xarxa! No costa gaire inspirar-se!

En aquest cas, com podeu veure, he triat una gama de colors roses i verds perquè la casa quedés més harmoniosa.que les anteriors.

Potser el tema és una mica naïf, però m'ho he passat molt bé consint-la. I en definitiva això és que a la fi compta. Una aturada relaxant entre feina i més feina!

White felt flowers / Flors blanques en feltre

Hi, again!

Christmas time has been very productive so far. I would like to show you a new flower made with wool felt. This was an old design I draw on paper a while ago, and finally I have found the way to make it.

I love these two colours. The green is beautiful and a little bit iridescent and, as you can see, this felt has also some texture.

El Nadal està sent molt productiu com veieu per les darreres entrades.

Us voldria ensenyar un nou penjoll que he fet a partir d'un disseny antic que finalment he convertit en una flor de feltre.

Els colors són molt bonics. El verd és una mica tornasolat i el feltre té una mica de textura.

Crochet scarf

Hi, I’m here again.

I am not used to crochet. At home when I was a child it was very common to see crochet hooks and threads around the house. My grandmother loved crochet very much and I have to say that she was very good at it.

Now, it’s my turn. The story began with a crochet kit belonging to my daughter. A few weeks ago, I remembered that there was one at home and I decided to look for it. My surprise was to find out that there are things you learn as a child that you never forget. I had to repeat the first flower I did but after that one it became easier and easier.

I decided to sew and join them to create a scarf. And this is the result.

You should have a go and try it; it’s fun and not difficult at all!
